Birštonas Museum was founded in 1967. The founder of the museum was geography teacher Petras Kazlauskas. The museum collects and preserves exhibits from Birštonas and its surroundings. The exposition tells about the history of Birštonas and famous people from ancient times to the present day.

Brief information about the guide Irma: I was born and raised in Birštonas, that‘s why this town is very close to me. I graduated from KTU, Business Management and Administration. I have been working at Birštonas Museum since 2007. Since 2013 I conduct educational programs for children and adults at the Birštonas Museum.
