In June 1941 (during the occupation of Lithuania by Nazi Germany), in the region was pursued a very active anti-Jewish policy. During the massacres, the Nazi authorities decided to use the surviving Jews for hard work. To fulfill this goal, ghettos were created in Vilnius, Siauliai and Kaunas. On this excursion we will get acquainted with the life of the Kaunas ghetto from the inside – we will see how the ghetto was arranged, what everyday life was like, and we will feel the power of the desire to survive.
